Always burn your candle on a stable heat resistant surface. Keep away from drafts and flammable materials. Trim the wick on pillar candles approximately 1/4 to 3/8; and 3/8 to 1/2 inch on container candles each time they are lit. Do not burn candle when wax is less than 1/2” from bottom. If you think that your candle flame is too high, blow candle out and trim wick to a lower height. Do not touch or move candle while burning or if it is hot. Never leave a burning candle unattended and always keep out of the reach of children and pets. We recommend burning your candle for no more than 3 hours at a time.
Always place pillar candles on an appropriate candle holder before lighting. Never place it directly on furniture surface. If the wax of a burning pillar candle reaches the edge, blow out flame, fold edges inward and allow wax to harden before lighting again.
Following these recommendations will help prevent dripping and protect your furniture as well as prolong the life of your candle.
Domestic Shipments
All standard delivery orders are shipped via USPS. Second day and next day delivery requests are sent via Fed Ex or UPS. Orders are usually shipped within 2 to 3 business days of receipt of payment. Once shipped most domestic orders sent via standard delivery take anywhere from 2 to 4 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local post office.
International shipments
Most of our International orders are shipped via USPS. Depending on your location and the processing time of your local custom agency, delivery times may vary between 2 and 7 weeks.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply in your individual country. Kindred Essence has no control over the processing times at your local agencies and so is not responsible for any customs delay.
Please note that during unforeseen national emergencies such as Covid 19 or natural disasters, extreme delays in delivery of both domestic and international shipments may occur. Kindred Essence has no control over such delays once the package leaves our facilities and is in the hands of the carrier.
Exchanges
At Kindred Essence, all our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles or soaps cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to Kindred Essence within 7 days of delivery. You may also exchange your product for another candle or soap of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return items.
In the event the package is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s) for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at Customer Care for further details.
