Kindred Essence Featured on Etsy Blog

We’ve been sitting on a secret for a couple of months and today, we’re super excited to reveal the news. Kindred Essence was selected as an Etsy Featured Seller and the article is now live on the Etsy site.

This is such an exciting and amazing opportunity for us and Jennifer and I want to again thank everyone at Etsy who selected us for this feature. 

In addition to the interview, we had the opportunity to go into the city and have our photos taken by the amazing Taylor Rainbolt.  She and the talented makeup artist and hair stylist made us look pretty good if I do say so myself. 

Speaking of amazing photographers, we owe an eternal debt of gratitude to the fabulous Earle Holder from 31btmedia for the wonderful photos he’s taken of us and more importantly our products this year. His photos greatly contributed to bringing our products to the attention of Etsy and we couldn’t be more appreciative of his work. If you are looking for some amazing product photography or lifestyle shots in the NJ/NYC area, Earle is your guy.

We also want to thank our Lord and savior for granting us this opportunity and our family for their continued support.

Finally, an interesting aspect to all of this. As you all know, we are originally from Barbados and as would be expected, are big fans of Rihanna. Well, we had our photos taken at the Pier 59 photo studios in NYC. Two days later we found out that the day after we were at the studio, Rihanna was at the same location. We missed her by just 24 hours. 12 However, God is good and someday, we’ll run into our girl.  Maybe it will be on a beach in Bim.

Again, thanks to everyone who have supported us on this journey…from Etsy to our friends and family and of course our customers. We couldn’t have done it without you. Now the hard work begins.
